Great News!

From: Scoil Mhuire

To: whole school

To All Parents/Guardians & Staff,

Many thanks to all those who have already supported the Tesco token campaign in Tesco Bailieborough, as per our email last week. (see below) We would ask you to share the request with any local groups you may be part of. Also Note: If you get tokens in a different Tesco store, you can send them into the school and we will arrange for them to be dropped into the Bailieborough store.

Thanks again.

Great News !!!

The Meadow Autism Classes in Scoil Mhuire Moynalty have been selected for Tesco’s Community Fund blue token appeal in Tesco Bailieborough! This initiative allows customers to support local causes by placing blue tokens, received at the checkout, into designated boxes for their preferred cause. The more tokens The Meadow receives, the larger the financial donation Tesco will allocate to our fundraising.

To support The Meadow, simply shop at Tesco Bailieborough , collect the blue tokens after your purchase, and deposit it into The Meadow’s designated box. This small act can make a significant difference to our collection.

The Meadow will be part of the Tesco Blue Token Appeal for the next 12 weeks, so let’s spread the word! Encourage friends, family, and community members who shop at Tesco, to collect their blue tokens, and to vote for The Meadow. Every token counts and helps secure vital funding for Gross motor and sensory equipment can make a huge difference in providing engaging, therapeutic play opportunities to our pupils.

Kind regards,

Catriona Clarke

Scoil Mhuire Moynalty was opened in 2012 as one of the first Passive House Standard schools in Ireland. It also has the honour of being the lowest ever air-tightness building in Ireland achieving a result of .54 (H3/hr) H3@50pa.

Scoil Mhuire is a four classroom school in Moynalty, in north Meath. It replaced the old national school that was built in 1938.

As well as four spacious classrooms, there is a large general purpose hall of 140 sq. meters. There is a library, large rooms for support teaching, staff room and offices.

Through fund-raising efforts an astroturf pitch was added along with much needed equipment for PE, library, science and the establishment of an “Aistear” for infants.
